Course Description Recommended Prior Learning

No prerequisite for this course


Students will  be working on one Unit Standard in Measurement, six Level One Achievement Standards and one Level 2
Achievement Standard. They will also have the opportunity to sit one externally assessessed standard in the November
Examinations. This course is designed for all mainstream Mathematics students. As the course is based around mainly
Achievement Standards it will enable students to progress onto the 2MAT course in 2021. Students can gain further recognition of
their achievement with a Merit and Excellence endorsement for this subject.
